Equipment is purchased and owned by PART with consumable items supplied by SECAmb
Typically responders carry the following equipment:
- Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
- Oxygen, trauma masks and bag-valve-mask
- Sphygmomanometer (Blood pressure monitor)
- Stethoscope
- Suction unit
- Temperature monitoring
- Variety of bandages and dressings
- Pulse Oximeter
- Metronome
- Fob Watch
- Blanket
- Torch
- Cool Packs
All the above kit weighs approx 15kg!
Responders are also issued with a designated phone or Airwave unit, PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) including sterile gloves, uniform, boots, high visibility jackets and car signage.
